Proudly serving Connecticut homeowners
Species we install
Each species takes stain differently — same color on red oak vs. walnut will read completely different. These are the four we install most across Connecticut homes.

The American classic.
Pinkish-brown with bold, open grain. Takes stain beautifully — most of our refinishing jobs are red oak, and most stain swatches you see online are tested on it.

Cooler, tighter, premium.
Slightly harder than red oak with a tighter, more uniform grain and a cooler brown tone. The go-to for wide-plank installs and modern designer stains (gray, weathered, smoked).

Blonde, tight grain, very hard.
Cream-blonde with subtle, almost invisible grain — gives a clean, modern look. Hard enough for high-traffic homes, though it can be tricky to stain evenly.

Premium, deep chocolate.
Rich chocolate-brown with dramatic, swirling grain — no stain needed. Softer than oak, so we recommend it for living rooms, bedrooms, and offices over kitchens.
Stain options
We finish every floor with DuraSeal Premium Wood Finishes — the same stains the trade has trusted for 100+ years. Tones below are previews; actual color varies with your wood grain and lighting.

EPOXY FLOORS
Installation · Coating · Refinishing
Built in layers
We build every epoxy floor as a system, not a single coat. Each layer plays a role — sealing the slab, locking moisture out, taking the abuse, looking sharp. Pick the system that fits the room, the traffic, and the look you want.

Built for any space
Whether it's a 50,000 sq ft warehouse or a high-end dealership floor your customers stand on, the same crew and the same materials engineer the surface from the slab up.
Industrial warehouses live and die by floor toughness. Forklifts, pallet jacks, dropped tools, oil spills, daily sweeping — your floor takes a beating. Our epoxy systems shrug it off and clean up with a mop. Same surface, year after year.
